Amsterdam Dance Event’s festival program can be found on the ADE website and will be further updated online over the weeks leading up to ADE, taking place from October 13-17. Despite the limitations, we are pleased that ADE can help support the sector in this way after a difficult period, and that together we show how strong we are as an industry”, state Meindert Kennis and Jan-Willem van de Ven, the two co-directors of ADE.

“Although a small number of organizers had to cancel their event, there’s more than plenty left to create an amazing ADE. Currently, over 250 events in more than 90 venues are confirmed within the hours from 6:00 until 00:00, with many more to be added over the next two weeks. As a result of the recently announced Covid restrictions by the Dutch government, the ADE team has worked together with the Amsterdam municipality, club owners, and festival organizers to help enable the city’s electronic music scene to host festival events during the day.īecause of the flexibility and resilience shown by the organizers under the ADE umbrella, almost all events have been able to move to timeslots allowed within the current regulations.

With the rescheduling of an expected 350+ planned events, Amsterdam Dance Event 2021 is gearing up for its return to physical form in just two weeks.
